"To God Be the Glory"
25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for
conscience sake: 26For the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness
thereof….31Whether therefore ye eat, or drink or whatsoever ye do,
do all to the glory of God.I Corinthians 10:25-31
Eat any thing for sale in the meat market, without raising any question,
as far as conscience is concerned – GSPD The whole earth and all
that is in it belongs to the Lord – Phi …do everything to
glorify God – Beck you should always give God the glory –

In a non-religious personal or social situation, food offered to idols
can be eaten unless it involves the conscience of another brother. No
created thing in itself is sinful, since everything belongs to God, but
it is inconsistent to Glorify God and hurt others. The final arbiter must
consider love, not knowledge or liberty.
It is time out for “grand standing” in the church. Too many
leaders are using God’s gifts and callings for their own self-aggrandizement.
We need more leaders with the Spirit of John the Baptist, “He must
increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). Our prayer should be
Lord hide me behind the cross. If God chooses to use us in a special way,
then to God be the glory for the things he has done. We must strive to
bring glory and honor to Christ in all we say and do. St Paul states in
Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live,
yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself
for me.”
God bless you all,
